Pleco Fish: Disgusting Today, Saviour Tomorrow

I want you all to think for a moment. Today, Pleco fish has become a significant problem spreading across many rivers and lakes in Malaysia. Perhaps you see this fish as a nuisance—disgusting and destructive to ecosystems. But let's consider it from another perspective. Perhaps there’s a hidden blessing here.

Imagine a day after a major event, something we call "As-Sa'ah" or perhaps an Overland invasion of Malaysia. The economy collapses suddenly. Everything we've considered comfortable and stable vanishes in an instant. Shops close, supermarkets are empty, and food supplies diminish day by day. Scary, isn't it? But hold your panic.

At that moment, the city recreational lakes—previously used just for jogging or selfies—or even rainwater catchment ponds you consider ordinary, will become centers for finding food. You'll be shocked by how many people will flock there just to feed their families.

And do you know what's most surprising? Pleco fish, previously considered problematic, will suddenly become a great opportunity for us. They could become an essential source of protein when chicken and meat can no longer reach your plate. What seemed like a problem and a negative issue before will turn into a blessing. This is the time to learn survival and adaptation in the toughest circumstances. We will realize that within every fear and problem, the Rabb surely provides space for us to create new opportunities and dreams.

I'm not sharing this just to frighten you. I just want you to be prepared. Once we understand situations like this, we can take early steps to strengthen our resilience mentally, physically, and spiritually. Whether As Sa'ah and the Overland attack actually happen tomorrow, next year, or many years from now, the important thing is that we are prepared.

As servants of Allah, we must always be grateful. If we are tested with this situation, it means God knows we can handle this trial. Allah never makes mistakes in choosing whom He tests. This isn't a time to despair, but a time to build inner strength. Inspiration to survive will emerge within you when you believe you are among those chosen to face the test.

Remember, the Pleco fish may seem like "nothing" today, but in the most critical circumstances, they could become "everything" for you and your family. Sooner or later, this situation will arrive.
